Online Talk / Public Viewing. In this monthly series, Dr. Tobias Endler talks to experienced observers from politics, business, society and culture about current developments in the 2024 U.S. presidential election.

In May, Tobias Endler is in conversation with:

Yoshihiro Francis Fukuyama is an American political scientist and Director of the Center for Democracy, Development and the Rule of Law at the Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies at Stanford University, where he also directs the Master’s program in International Politics. His research interests include developing countries, nationbuilding, democratization, governance, international political economy and security issues. Fukuyama has commented on the most important issues in recent world politics and has established himself as a liberal thinker. His most cited thesis is that of the end of history, i.e. the supposed ultimate triumph of liberal democracy after the end of the Eastern Bloc and the collapse of the Soviet Union.
